Journey to RDC: My Unforgettable NSS Pre-RDC Experience












PRE - REPUBLIC DAY PARAD CAMP 2023

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports meticulously orchestrated a Ten-Day North Zone NSS Pre-Republic Day Parade Camp for the year 2023. This distinguished event transpired from the 25th of October to the 3rd of November, hosted at the prestigious Manohar Memorial Post Graduate College, situated in Fatehabad, Haryana. 

The camp drew the participation of a noteworthy assembly, comprising 200 dedicated women NSS Volunteers hailing from the states of Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, as well as the Union Territories of Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Chandigarh.


National Service Scheme Volunteers have been participating in the Republic Day Parade since 1988 The participants are imparted training in leadership development and parade apart from organising various socio-cultural programs The volunteers present marchpast during this Camp at Kartavyapath on 26 January The Republic Day Parade Camp brings a MINI INDIA to the Nation's Capital. It provides a unique opportunity to the NSS Volunteers not only to interact among themselves but also to meet and talk to Eminent Personalities and exchanges views and experiences. They also visit places of cultural and historical importance in and around Delhi to enrich their knowledge about the cultural heritage of the country. The volunteers stay in Camp in exemplary harmony and lead a simple life. The day in the camp begins in early morning from 05:00 AM and extends upto 10.30PM It includes Morning Assembly, Yoga, Physical Training Parade Practice, Lectures, Discussions, Quiz. Debate and Evening Cultural Programs The camp is managed entirely by the student volunteers and contingent leaders. Each day was assigned to state in which they had to perform all the activities as per schedule. The same spirit and pattern is followed in Pre R D. Camps. The participation in RD Camp is considered a matter of pride for NSS Volunteers as they undergo a rigorous selection process for this The same is true for Pre RD.Camp too I is also seen as recognition of the selfless community service rendered by the NSS Volunteer throughout the county.


I represented as DELHI CONTIGENT with 17 others and had the bestest time & experience for life. The unforgettable feeling. Moment, Experience we had!

Stepping into their world: My first experience as a special educator

My Unforgettably Internship Experience at SkillsKOol Foundation I was pursuing my Special Educator degree from IPU. During my third semester, we had a month-long internship at a special school (  SkillsKOol Foundation ).  It was an incredible and enriching experience. Working with special children left a lasting impression on me. I had the opportunity to interact with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and Learning Disabilities (LD). I worked with both senior and junior students, and the exposure we received there was truly remarkable.
